The Opportunity
Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.
As part of our improvement journey we are currently seeking an Industrial Instrument Mechanic with leadership aptitudes to join our team at the Saint John Brewery. The ideal candidate will bring best practice experience from various industries and help the team continuously elevate the standards.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Maintain and carry out improvements to the Control System, Software and Infrastructure
- Maintain and repair all process and packaging equipment related to the Automation and Controls Department
- Perform equipment fault analysis, predictive and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery during production
- Assist with process improvements and help drive performance improvements
- Have the ability to work well within the Automation and Controls Department to achieve goals and to positively interact with the Operations Department
- Be expected to successfully complete technical training on new equipment and training required as part of your training goals
- Have the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Shift-work (24 Hour/5 Day Coverage) may be required and overtime as required, along with additional duties as assigned
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Graduate of the Industrial Control Technology program from community college
- Must hold the following ticket - Industrial Instrument Mechanic Red Seal Journeyman
- Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation equipment experience would be an asset
- 5 to 10 years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience
- Strong focus on safety, integrity and reliability
