We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as a Fractional Human Resource Partner for our clients. In this role, you will act as the primary HR Partner for multiple clients, offering strategic HR guidance and hands-on support. You will work with clients on a fractional, long-term basis, and on specific projects with defined timelines. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong HR background, a knack for business development, and who cares about supporting leaders and improving workplaces.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR Partner for a roster of clients, providing strategic HR support and hands-on HR services.
- Maintain and grow a client portfolio, ensuring consistent monthly revenue and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices that align with each client's business objectives and organizational culture.
- Manage the full spectrum of HR services, including recruitment, policy development, performance management, employee relations, leadership coaching, termination support, and more.
- Lead HR projects for clients, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Network and attend industry events on behalf of the company to generate new business leads and foster relationships.
- Participate in initial consult calls, assess needs, and prepare client proposals.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review HR strategies, provide updates, and discuss upcoming HR needs.
- Stay current with HR best practices, legal requirements, and industry trends to ensure clients receive the most up-to-date advice and support.
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPHR designation strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on strategic HR management and business partnering.
- Proven experience in client management and either experience or an appetite for business development.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and industry trends across multiple functional areas of human resources.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Comfortable networking and attending events (sometimes during the evening) to represent the company.
- Strong social media presence is an asset.
- Self-motivated, with a strong business acumen and a passion for helping businesses succeed.
