Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) players have been having fun and "dreaming big" since 1976 when ALC started offering lottery games on behalf of the governments of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island. ALC is one of five lottery corporations operating across the country. On behalf of the governments of Atlantic Canada, ALC's role is to manage gaming activities in a fun, profitable and socially responsible manner. Accountable to Atlantic Canadians, its operations are rooted in integrity, responsibility, and transparency, which are the cornerstones of its success and continued public trust and confidence.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Finance and Supply Chain is a member of the Executive Management Team of ALC and will have critical oversight of various functions central to the competitive repositioning and change evolution of Atlantic Lottery. The Head of Finance and Supply Chain will help to lead the delivery of ALC's financial and operational objectives through responsible, innovative, and sustainable practices while supporting and mentoring the team in the daily operations and accountabilities of the department.

As the ideal candidate, you have a professional accounting designation (CPA) and a post-secondary degree, combined with progressive senior leadership experience within a fast-paced and consumer services organization. You have a successful track record and expertise in managing the leadership, development, execution and monitoring of financial and supply chain services, as well as a reputation for being a trusted business advisor who fosters strategic organizational growth and development. You have the ability to communicate financial analytics in a clear and concise manner and you are a big-picture thinker who is comfortable and effective working both at a strategic and a tactical level. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and you can build seamless working relationships with operational and financial leaders across the organization in order to provide a current and accurate perspective to your colleagues on the Executive leadership team. Highly astute, you can leverage your critical thinking and observational skills to develop and implement functional corporate strategies and action plans which take advantage of opportunities for generating positive results; a strong detail orientation and reliable analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. A team player who is fair-minded, flexible and motivating in your approach to leadership, you will mentor and coach the team to consistently deliver at their highest potential and ensure all accountabilities and priorities are achieved. As the Head of Finance and Supply Chain, you will thrive on challenges and success, will deliver on key initiatives and maintain a strong commitment to ALC's values and mission.
