Responsibilities

  • Maintain hair station cleanliness/ hygienic procedures and ensure all safety standards are met
  • Provide consistent quality
  • Maintain appointments

Requirements:

  • Must have a Nova Scotia hair license
  • 2-3 years experience with seniors preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to complete perms and provide coloring
  • Energetic, outgoing personality

License/Certification:

  • Current membership with The Cosmetology Association of NS
  • Must be currently licensed as a general hairdresser
  • Must provide proof of insurance

Rental Fees: The provider shall pay a bi-weekly rental fee of 15% of gross sales for the rental space, utilities, and cleaning services provided by The Mira.

Responsible for:

  • -Own income tax
  • -One day a week schedule
  • -There is no cost to the facility for WCB, benefits, sick time, or vacation

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months
