We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to be a Graphic Designer. Based out of our Fredericton, NB office while working from home, this role requires collaboration with the writers and marketing team to plan, design and produce a wide range of interactive digital media. This opportunity is available immediately.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Designing and producing a wide range of interactive digital media, from interface design to motion graphics, iconography, branding, and typography
- Researching and designing UI and UX applications
- Developing high-quality, visually attractive web media elements
- Working closely with the marketing team to plan and design marketing collateral
- Monitoring new developments in web technologies
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously on a regular basis
- Brainstorming with writers on optimum creative direction and approaches
- Conveying ideas into actionable visual executions
What you'll need
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or equivalent degree in arts, visual communications, or design
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience working on an in-house or agency marketing or creative team
- 3 - 5 years' solid experience of working on client projects
- Ability to communicate UI/UX principles clearly to other teams and non-technical people
- An excellent knowledge of all relevant design applications (primarily Adobe CC - Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects)
- Experience in 3D modeling/animation would be a distinct advantage (3D Studio, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D)
- The ability to generate fresh ideas and apply new logic
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task & work independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing platforms such as desktop and mobile, Android and iOS
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills as well as highly effective communication skills
- The ability to continually review and optimize results for each piece of creative work
- Proactive and constantly looking for new approaches to problem solving
- Organized, highly motivated, able to work fast, and a team player
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to accept and provide art direction is also required.
