Under the supervision of the Administrative Manager, Facilities Management, the Functional Analyst provides support to end users on Facilities Management systems including but not limited to Banner, Star Rez, Ops Commander, Secure, Qware, MBS and Fusion. The Functional Analyst acts as the main point of contact with the vendor of various systems for upgrades and functional releases. Responsible for conducting research on additional functionalities to see if there are additional modules that should be purchased or functionalities that should be integrated into the current environment. Reviews and understands the impact of new functionality or enhancements and updates end user documentation to reflect the changes.

The Functional Analyst works out of the Facilities Management Department and reports to the Administrative Manager, Facilities Management.

Union affiliation for this position is with Bargaining Unit 79. The position is evaluated at a Group 9 (salary range $50,572 - $61,814). Collective Agreement can be viewed here.

Qualifications

To be the successful Functional Analyst you will possess an Undergraduate Degree in Business Systems or related discipline and a minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience. The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development to keep pace with rapidly changing technologies as well as excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills are required in this position. Strong presentation and facilitation skills and demonstrated skills in training and program evaluation will round out your experience as the successful candidate. Experience with StarRez, Operations Commander, KeyStone and Q-ware will be considered an asset.
