We have a position within our Fabrication team as a Fabricator/Painter. The role is responsible for painting parts, as well as working within the team producing high quality fabricated parts. These parts help to make up the products that Nautel is proud to ship to customers around the world. 

What you'll do

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

Working in safe manner;

Painting and fabrication of mechanical pieces and undertaking light duty assembly operations according to ISO and Nautel's Workmanship Standard Operating Procedures;

Set up tooling;

Read and interpret data of various measuring instruments;

Operation of painting equipment, including lifting and moving parts in the paint shop;

Operation of assembly tooling, light duty machine drilling, filing, sanding, deburring; pern setting, some lifting required in these duties;

The above duties will expand as candidates become more familiar with the Fabrication process and workshop at Nautel.

Be willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
