The Office of Experiential Education
The Office of Experiential Education provides leadership and strategic direction for UNB's Strategic Plan - Toward 2030. In collaboration with external employers, funders, & partners, we create, strengthen, and support experiential learning opportunities for all UNB students. Our mandate is to improve the quantity and quality of experiential learning opportunities for students in all faculties at UNB.

Salary Range: $ 49060.00 - $ 63775.00 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Director, Experiential Education, the Experiential Learning Partnership Strategist is responsible for a bi-campus unit overseeing and managing relationships with UNB's partners for experiential learning. Currently, there are over 3300 active employer partners in our database. The Experiential Learning Partnership Strategist acts as the 'concierge' for new partners in experiential learning at UNB by helping them to: understand the opportunities for curricular and co-curricular experiential learning; understand funding and subsidy options available for placement-based work-integrated learning, coordinating meetings with relevant internal units, and maintaining a high-level partnership engagement strategy customized to each partner.
- Act as a direct point of contact for key partners in experiential learning at UNB.
- Develop and support UNB's Employer Advisory Group of 15-20 key industry/community partners who provide advisory support to OEE's experiential learning programs and strategies.
- Develop and implement an employer engagement strategy for experiential learning at UNB.
- Create employer-specific engagement strategies and approaches for key partners in collaboration with internal EL staff and the partner.
- Utilize the ExperienceUNB platform, to develop and maintain consistent processes for documenting and improving employer relationships.
- Create reporting metrics on partnership relations.
- Attend partnership networking events on behalf of the Office of Experiential Education as required.
- Collaborate to create promotional and communications materials (newsletter, blog posts, social media, website, etc) for partnership audiences.
- Liaise with the Funding Support Unit to identify and communicate funding opportunities to stakeholders.
- Research and support applications for external grant-based funding.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members in the Partnership Support Unit of the Office of Experiential Education.
- Develop onboarding and training materials for new team members in the Partnership Support Unit of the Office of Experiential Education.
- Liaise with internal units to introduce partners and ensure alignment with specific experiential learning programs.
- Maintain documentation and reporting on key partner relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Post-Secondary Education in a related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field.
Additional Strengths
- Experience with project coordination and educational program development is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with experiential and work-integrated learning programming is considered a strong asset.
- Relationships and networks with New Brunswick businesses and partners is considered an asset.
- Project management experience is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
