NBCC is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Executive Assistant to the Vice President Academic Development. This is a one-year term position with the possibility of extension or becoming regular.

What you'll do
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President, you will provide high-level, confidential administrative support and coordination of relevant projects for the division. As the main contact for the Vice President, you will liaise with senior leaders and external partners, effectively manage the day-to-day workflow activities, set priorities and agendas, anticipate issues, maintain confidentiality, and track and coordinate activities and projects accurately and efficiently. You will work collaboratively with others to ensure seamless workflow across departments and divisions, and ensure that the information, organization and communication needs of the Vice President are met in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting correspondence; producing and disseminating information for internal and external stakeholders; preparing reports by collecting and analyzing information; making travel arrangements and overseeing the schedule of the Vice-President; and records management. You will work collaboratively with other Executive Assistants and will provide administrative, secretarial and clerical support to the Vice President; as well as other related duties.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Required qualifications for this opportunity include a diploma in business or office administration, and a minimum of five (5) years of related and recent experience working with senior management; OR a university degree in business or arts or a related field, and a minimum of three (3) years related and recent experience working with senior management. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and will be customer-focused and results-oriented, with strong administrative, project management and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization is essential for this position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Preference may be given to candidates with experience working in a post-secondary environment.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

NBCC offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes a competitive salary for this position ranging from $39,962 to $55,796.
