Under the direction of the Associate Registrar, Services Centre, the Enrolment Services Representative will respond to inquiries and offer guidance as requested by students, members of the university community, and the general public to provide one-stop quality service and accurate information in the broad areas of admissions, registration, financial assistance (scholarships and loans), academic policies and procedures, and other areas. The Enrolment Services Representative will assist with maintaining each student's academic and financial record. Collection and receipting all forms of payment involves dealing with money, currency conversion, invoicing for sponsored / funded students, monitoring, and tracking exceptional payment arrangements, efforts to collect overdue accounts and assists students / others in their understanding of how to pay, how to access funding resources and what to do in emergency funding situations. The Service Centre is the first point of contact for new students and has an atmosphere of effective, efficient, friendly, and reliable service with a focus on enhancing customer service by using a high level of problem-solving skills

The Service Centre Coordinator works out of the Enrolment Services Department and reports to the Associate Registrar- Service Centre.

Union affiliation for this position is with Bargaining Unit 79. The position is evaluated at a Group 6 (salary range $37,797 - $44,769). Collective Agreement can be viewed here.

Qualifications

To be the successful Enrolment Services Representative you will have completed high school plus two (2) years of University and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience. The successful candidate should have proven familiarity with MS Office, including Windows, Word, and Excel. You must have proven time management skills and strong customer service skills. Work experience in an academic environment, experience with social media including Twitter and Facebook and experience with Ellucian Banner will all be considered assets.
