- Frontend: Modern JavaScript stack using Vue.js, Pinia and Tailwind.
- Backend: Python, Flask, Celery, Kafka, SQLAlchemy.
- Databases: MySQL (Aurora), ElasticSearch.
- Infrastructure: GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, AWS.
In this position, you will play a key role in the overall success of Dash Hudson by planning, managing, and monitoring engineering functions for a product team, working closely with a Product Manager and a Designer. You will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes and timelines, along with making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.

As an Engineering Manager, you will:
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Conduct regular 1x1 meetings with your team.
- Build career path plans for development.
- Be an engineering leader for your team.
- Build and maintain solid working relationships with your product and design counterparts.
- Plan and estimate projects, overseeing timeline and delivery.
- Make technical decisions and resolve conflicts.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Participate in hiring interns and new developers, their onboarding and training.
- Manage team performance.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Desired Skills and Experience
- 1+ years of experience in a manager role.
- 4+ years of experience doing hands-on software development.
- Experience building SaaS products.
- Familiarity with our tech stack or similar.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
