Job Information and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Assistant Direct Client Technology Services, the End User Support Technologist will:
- Provide first point of contact support including assessment, investigation, diagnosis and
- resolution for complex incidents and service requests for all services provided by EIT.
- Support new enterprise services and systems that transition from the project team to Client Services (e.g., Exchange email, teams phones, multi-function devices, etc.).
- Provide standard customer services and supports users both remotely and in person to diagnose and resolve problems relating to accessing and using the Saint Mary's University network including printing, applications, audio-visual, software/hardware in labs and classrooms and client technology devices.
- Investigates and analyses problems, and liaises with clients, other technical staff and external vendors/partners to resolve incidents and problems.

Experience and Education Requirements
To be the successful End User Support Technologist you will have:
- Successful completion of a two-year Community College level program in Information Technology.
- Minimum of two years' directly related experience.
- Information technology experience in a technology support role.
- Strong knowledge of client support processes and practices.
- Experience with Microsoft O365 applications, current Windows and Mac Operating systems.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of incident and problem management resolutions.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
