Under the direction of the Manager, Graduate Career Services, the Employer Outreach Coordinator works to support all career services activities tied to initiating, growing and stewarding employer relations in service of the Masters' programs (MBA, MBA-CPA, MTEI, MAE, MFIN, MBANS) and the Sobey School of Business. This would include, but not be limited to building and enhancing experiential learning opportunities for our students.

The Employer Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with local, regional, and national employers to increase labor force attachment of our students and recent graduates. The Employer Outreach Coordinator will nurture relationships, determine hiring needs of employers and promote Sobey School of Business via cold calls, strategic marketing campaigns, as well as off-site employer visits. This position will assist with events such as Career Fairs, Corporate Tours and speaker events. They will also oversee tracking of relevant data and the posting of employment opportunities on Career 360.

This position is considered a three (3) year contract position with the University and salary range will be $49,000 - $64,000 annually.

Qualifications

To be the successful Employer Outreach Coordinator you will possess completion of post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in business, human resources, marketing/sales or a related field in addition to two (2) years' recent and related experience in recruiting, business development or human resources. You are strategic thinker who is naturally service oriented and enjoys building and nurturing relationships at all levels. You possess exceptional organizational skills and administrative capacity to work in a busy, multidimensional environment. As a bonus, you have the ability to develop, facilitate and lead workshops, meetings and/or training experiences in combination with an exceptional ability to build and maintain a professional network. You further demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities independently and within a team. Skills in effective use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Publisher, Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Eventbrite, Career 360, Mailchimp, Qualtrics, Canva and social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) and the ability to maintain databases will round out your qualifications in this position.
