The Opportunity
CAA Atlantic is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Roadside Service Technician for our Moncton, New Brunswick location. As an Emergency Roadside Assistance Technician, you will be responsible for delivering prompt and effective roadside support our CAA members who are experiencing vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or other emergencies. This role involves identifying vehicle issues, performing on-sceene services, and towing. This role presents the opportunity to support and work with our members on a daily basis. To date in 2024, CAA Atlantic has serviced over 100,000 Emergency Roadside Service calls!
This position follows a shift rotation schedule: 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 7 days off & 13 hours shifts. There is possbility of some travel outside of the Moncton region to service members across New Brunswick or in Prince Edward Island. This position is commencing immediately.
This is the perfect opportunity for you if:
- You have experience driving larger vehicles including buses, cube vans or other similar larger vehicles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Do you change your own oil?
- Likes to work on their own vehicles
- Generally known as a handyperson

- Enjoy the opportunity to work independently throughout New Brunswick and occasionally Charlottetown

What you'll need
Qualifications
- Able to work the following rotation: 3 days on, 1 off, 3 days on, 7 days off & 13 hours shifts
- Exceptional commitment to customer service
- Commitment to working as part of a team
- Ability to work unsupervised and in difficult conditions
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Relevant work experience in Customer Service and / or Automotive related experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude preferred but not essential
- Class 5 Licence with Air Brake Endorsements, preferred but not required
- Bilingualism considered an asset
