Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Development of applications and drivers for embedded Linux systems

Development of embedded systems utilizing DSP and FPGA technology

Develop innovative product digital system architectures/algorithms;

Working within a team environment, while supporting departments across the company;

Representing the company at technical conferences and direct customer support;

What you'll need

Qualifications

3-5 years demonstrating excellence in the design of mixed digital/analog systems;

Linux knowledge and experience;

DSP/FPGA knowledge and experience;

Bachelor or higher degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of achievements and education;

C, C++, Verilog

Ability to lead, work well with others as well as independently;

Proven problem solving and analytical skills;

Strong Communication skills - the ability to communicate ideas and plans within a team and more broadly in the organization;

Background in communication theory (AM, FM, OFDM, MSK, QPSK)

Familiarity with any of the following would be an asset:

Matlab or Octave

Amplifier Pre-correction techniques

Digital up/down conversion

Digital Audio Distribution Systems

Crest factor Reduction

Familiarity with Analog devices Sharc or Blackfin DSP families

Familiarity with Altera Quartus or Xilinx ISE/Vivado tools

Lab instrumentation: Spectrum/Network analyzers, Oscilloscopes
