We are currently recruiting for an Electronics Technician. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply, and develop, your skills while working as part of a Project Team engaged in the development of new products and providing technical support for Nautel products.

The responsibilities of the role include:

Construction, testing and evaluation of circuits, sub-assemblies and systems;

Preparation and validation of schematics, parts lists, wiring route sheets, test plans, and all product design documentation;

Design and selection of system level and sub-system level components

Assistance to Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Production Departments;

What you'll need

Qualifications

Qualifications and skills desired:

Electronic Technician qualification;

Previous experience in a development environment would be an asset;

Knowledge of RF, analogue and digital circuits as well as equipment ventilation and cooling;

Effective at troubleshooting electronic circuits and systems, including use of related test equipment;

Understanding of software development would be an asset;

Use of computer programs such as schematic drawing, mechanical drawing, electronic circuit analysis and/or LabVIEW would be an asset;

Strong problem solving and analytical skills, as well as effective communication skills;

The ability to work effectively as part of a team; as well as independently.
