Thermalite, formally Downeast Plastics Ltd, is looking for motivated, energetic and adaptable people to join the team in their Cap-Pelé plant. Thermalite has been in operation since 1982 and is currently experiencing strong growth.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Plan and assign truck to outbound/inbound loads
- Manage driver pool and schedules
- Monitor and update load and truck information daily
- Complete paperwork for border crossings
- Monitor HOS and ELD requirements
- Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
What you'll need
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or local equivalent.
- Previous dispatch experience is preferred
- Ability to quickly and accurately assess situation and react accordingly
- Positive attitude and excellent customer services skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of general office management and current computer office communications technologies; PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
