Responsible for planning, directing, developing, and evaluating the activities of HVAC sales budget, manage and lead a team of Sales Managers and a team of Sales Agents in Western Canada, Toronto and Quebec. This would include building and maintaining business relationships with RNC clients/accounts, other internal departments, industry contacts and networks to meet or exceed the sales budget and strategy. Attend national, regional, and local trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, measure, and implement the actions and strategies of the company's sales activities within the appropriate accounts.
  • Continually work to identify new customers which will meet the profitability targets.
  • The ability to communicate and influence customers, sales team, and sales agents.
  • Provide customers with presentations on the benefits and uses of products or services, ensure delivery of customer requirements as per contractual agreement re: estimate and quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Initiate market research as required and analyze the findings re: competition, new product development, customers, environmental factors, and the industry, as well as assist in product development and provide customer feedback to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Prepare and measure the annual sales plans to include budgets, profitability, sales growth, target markets, sales by customer and sales by product, as well as meet or exceed the expected budget for the territory/accounts.
  • Take part in conferences and workshops for the purpose of sales generation, networking, continued professional education etc.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Requires a university degree or college diploma in business administration or in a related field with a specialization in sales or marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a sales or marketing representative in HVAC is critical.
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Must be willing and able to travel within Canada and United States.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Able to work well with others.
  • Ability to be flexible and self-motivated and driven.
  • Strong oral and written communication, as well as excellent presentation skills is a must.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, leadership in problem solving, decision-making, job task planning and critical thinking.
  • Proven successful sales experience and customer service.
  • Located inside Canada and legally eligible to work in Canada
