The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Care to oversee the provision of high-quality care services in our senior living community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, dementia care, and medication administration, with a passion for enhancing the well-being of our residents.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure the delivery of compassionate and effective care
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs
- Oversee medication administration processes and ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, families, and staff to optimize resident care
- Lead budgeting and resource allocation for care services
- Provide leadership and guidance in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for residents
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a nursing home or assisted living setting
- Strong knowledge of dementia care practices and protocols
- Ability to effectively supervise and mentor staff members
- Proficient in budgeting and resource management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for senior care and enhancing the quality of life for residents
