What you'll do
Responsibilities
As part of the Engagement and Experience Division and reporting to the Manager of Student Recruitment, the Digital Student Recruitment Advisor is responsible for enhancing our digital outreach efforts, facilitating engagement with potential students, and supporting our domestic and international recruitment initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute engaging webinar sessions that provide valuable insights into our college programs, admission procedures, and campus life, and assist other teams in creating and hosting their own webinars.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure informative and interactive webinar content.
- Offer personalized virtual advising sessions to prospective students, addressing their inquiries regarding program options, admission requirements, financial aid, and other relevant topics. Provide guidance and support throughout the pre-admissions process.
- Identify and develop compelling stories, testimonials, and other content that resonate with prospective students and showcase NBCC's unique aspects.
- Create basic design elements for email marketing campaigns and digital content, including graphics, images, and layouts that align with our brand guidelines.
- Record and produce personalized video messages to engage prospective students, addressing their unique interests and questions.
- Execute email marketing campaigns using our CRM system to attract and engage prospective students.
- Segment email lists based on demographics, interests, and behaviours to deliver targeted and personalized messages.
- Collaborate and support the recruitment team, academic departments, and student services to develop integrated recruitment strategies.
- Contribute to the planning and executing recruitment events, virtual tours, and other promotional activities.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of digital recruitment efforts using relevant metrics and analytics tools.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in a related field with relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and email marketing tools.
- Beginner graphic design skills are an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

- Highly flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate and build relationships effectively throughout the organization.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

- Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in a post-secondary environment.
Candidates must possess a valid Driver's License as travel will be required.
