Atlantic Lottery (AL) is seeking a Digital Marketing Associate. Location is flexible within Atlantic Canada with occasional travel to Moncton, NB and/or Halifax, NS.

As the Digital Marketing Associate, you are a humble, confident, results oriented marketer. Working within the Digital Marketing department you will find yourself wearing many hats and being fully immersed in the world of all things digital. This role is a key integration point for the team.

In this role you will be expected to be proficient in all things paid marketing and digital analytics. You are results oriented! You will tell stories through numbers and make decisions that are derived from data driven insights.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Digital Media Analysis & Management:

  • Digital Campaign execution, reporting, architecture execution, and trafficking (FB Ads Manager and Google Ads),
  • Campaign KPI attainment and performance,
  • Proactive updates on campaign delivery, observations, opportunities, threats and risks,
  • Stay up-to-date on team communications and deliver in a timely manner,
  • Web analytics management.

Creative/Editorial:

  • Active participation in:
    • Execution and dissemination of the messaging strategy,
    • Development/insight sharing for social strategy.

Professional Development:

  • Completes training and professional development as required,
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest industry standards, best practices and technology.

What you'll need

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in business, marketing, merchandising or equivalent.
  • Two years' experience in Digital Media Content and Campaign development.
  • Two years' experience in the marketing/advertising industry.
  • Previous experience with digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • One year experience in trafficking digital media campaigns using self-serve ad platforms including Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older to apply.

  • This position requires a demonstrated level of initiative and judgment in order to organize and prioritize tasks, workloads and projects;
  • Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are required in dealing with colleagues in every day working relationships;
  • Requires an understanding of inter-related work processes to be able to adapt to differing assignments;
  • Highly detail oriented;
  • Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions. Able to work with diverse personalities and styles;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Computer skills to produce effective reports, documents and presentations as required.
  • Experience working with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn & other social platforms, Adwords, Bing, DV360 and Google Analytics;
  • Extensive Excel/spreadsheet development and manipulation;
  • Experience using collaborative team communication and project management tools such as Slack and MS Teams;
  • Ability to work both independently and under close direction;
  • Ability to work collaboratively and at a fast pace;
  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage and meet multiple deadlines;
  • Detail oriented, organized, and comfortable managing many projects at the same time.

Assets:

  • Gaming experience considered an asset.
