Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, IT Applications, the Database Administrator is the technical expert in the maintenance, day-today operational support and monitoring of the underlying database and application environments associated with various enterprise level systems used within Saint Mary's, both in person and virtually. The Database Administrator performs continuous reviews and process improvement. This position will also perform project related duties.

The Database Administrator works out of the Enterprise Information Technology Department and reports to the Assistant Director, IT Application.

Union affiliation for this position is with Bargaining Unit 79. The position is evaluated at a Group 10 (salary range $55,651 - $68,028).

Qualifications

To be the successful Database Administrator you will possess a combination of university and technical courses, equivalent to two (2) years' post-high school education and a minimum of three (3) years of directly related experience. The successful candidate should possess current technology knowledge. ITIL Certificate and Oracle experience will be considered assets.
