NBCC is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the position of Data Project Manager.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Registrar, the Data Project Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of data and processes affecting student data in the Registrar's Office including the development of audit processes. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for project coordination for most system and data projects related to the Registrar's Office; specifically coordinating business processes related to Student Information System (SIMS) and online process changes.

This role is also responsible for the management of services and staff related to NBCC's Recognition of Prior Learning services, the centralized student records room, and the staff responsible for SIMS maintenance and reporting within the Office of the Registrar.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting the Registrar with professional development and training development; operations management and quality of service to students within the Registrar's Office; escalation and staff management.

What you'll need

Qualifications

Required qualifications for this opportunity include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of six (6) years of recent and related work experience; OR a two (2) year diploma program in a related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of recent and related work experience; OR a Master's Degree in a related field and a minimum of four (4) years of recent and related work experience. Candidates must have at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in a post-secondary environment.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

NBCC offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes a competitive salary for this position ranging from $56,524 to $78,962 annually.
