Remsoft, a leader in optimization and advanced analytics is continuing to expand with this critical new position based in Australia or New Zealand. With an important and growing client base in Oceania, Remsoft is taking the next step in this region to establish a full time, senior team member. 

This multi-faceted role will be focused on ensuring success with our existing clients to improve and accelerate their current solutions, and help introduce Remsoft's innovative new solutions and services to the broader market, including our newest SaaS Operations Management application. 

Working closely with Sales and Consulting Services departments, you will contribute to business development activities, along with some billable consulting work. 

We have a need in two areas where you will add big value. 

The first area is to help our existing clients maximize value from the current solutions. For that:

  • You have experience with Woodstock models
  • But - while you might be good at building models, we are not looking for someone to spend their time building models
  • Rather - you see the bigger picture related to good model design, process improvements, data connectivity and how the models drive decision support outputs
  • You want to contribute in a team role. But you also want to grow in the role and become a strong individual contributor on the Sales team

This leads to the second area where you will have a big impact; it relates to the next generation of Remsoft solutions. We are growing a new set of SaaS offerings on our new platform architecture. Currently, we're targeting operations management, supported by powerful decision support and visualization capabilities and that's just the beginning. You will be at the forefront of introducing and helping to configure the right solution setup for clients with that same focus on Process-People-Technology. For that, you also have:

  • An ability to consider how business and technology ecosystem elements combine
  • An outcomes focussed perspective
  • Represent Remsoft's next generation of solutions

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients to work through Process-People-Technology improvements related to their use of Remsoft optimization technologies and solutions
  • Attend and present at industry events to enhance Remsoft's presence in the forest industry in the Region
  • Help drive continuous planning improvement in our client base
  • Generate value-add consulting services work from your engagement with clients

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • You have experience with Woodstock models
  • Experience in forestry field operations so you can bring real-world operations knowledge to discussion
  • If you have SQL data experience, that would be a big plus
  • You are confident, respected in your domain and comfortable leading discussions to facilitate, elicit, design and present ideas to clients.
  • You are motivated by helping clients generate maximum value from their current solutions; and helping them see what's possible with next generation solutions.
