The Opportunity

Lounsbury Furniture Miramichi has an opening for a Guest Service Supervisor.

The Guest Services Supervisor will work in conjunction with the Store Manager and as part of a team to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Must be available to work retail store hours (Monday to Saturday).

Responsibilities

  • The Guest Services Supervisor will be the main point of contact and decision maker in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • In conjunction with the Store Manager, ensure sales team invoices are complete, with the required information, pricing, delivery dates and warranty details.
  • Assist Store Manager and team, keeping store display standards intact, including maintaining a clean, always signed and fully stocked sales floor.
  • Ability to triage guest issues over the phone to assess the significance and urgency of the situation and follow up to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Coordinate the efficient operation of the store by maintaining updated and detailed guest files, including furniture and appliance repairs, and perform all other relevant duties in conjunction with the store manager.
  • Responsible for maintaining a current database as it pertains to the service requests, claims, and credits through manufacturers' warranties, premium protection plans, and general furniture & appliance challenges.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers, French is considered an asset.
  • Experience in a leadership-type role dealing with high-impact customer challenges.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and, time management techniques.
  • Able to identify key issues and creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
