We are currently seeking a part-time, evening Custodian to join our team in Richibucto. The ideal candidate will keep our production area and other common areas clean to support production, ensure safety and helping make the overall area look neat and tidy
What you'll do
Responsibilities
This position requires the successful candidate to:
Keeping production area clean
Cleaning assigned sections/areas outside of assigned production area including floors, tables, windows, wall, ceilings
Vacuuming floor in assigned area
Emptying all trash cans as per assigned schedule in all assigned area
Remove snow and ice from entryways in assigned area and check for leaks or any other potential hazards around the building
Clean and disinfect washrooms in assigned area
Maintaining a clean and safe work area and contributing to overall plant safety and cleanliness
Performing all other duties assigned by production supervisor
What you'll need
Qualifications
The successful candidate will posses the following:
· Having the ability to follow oral and written directions
· Having demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices
· Being able to function well in a team environment and to communicate clearly with others
· Being task oriented
· Being physically fit
Having ability to prioritize, organize and have effective time management skills are required
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Having comprehensive understanding of WHMIS and Material Handling
Being punctual and reliable
