The Opportunity
As a key member of the Imperial Building Products Team, the Coordinator/Inside Sales' position plays a key role coordinating things between the Building products manager, the building products supervisor/planner, the building products shipping area, the traffic supervisor and also with the customer. This position also acts as inside sales, works in a customer service role as far as answering customer inquiries and or directing them to the right source. They also work as data entry to put the orders in the system including using the configurator to create new parts. This position also supports the building Products Manager and the supervisor in their roles as necessary.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Entering orders in Oracle, using the configurator when necessary, from the customer's orders/Managers sales
- Work as inside sales sales for off-the-shelf products
- Enter production numbers in tracking system
- Acting as customer service to deal with customer's inquiries, questions, questions around shipping times, product availability, etc.
- Creating bill of ladings for shipments
- Supporting/Assisting Building products manager and/or supervisor/planner as necessary
- Helping out on production when necessary or if not busy
- All other duties as assigned
What you'll need
Qualifications
The types of qualifications needed for this job include:
- Some experience in customer service would be an aset
- Good computer skills
- Having knowledge of building codes and building construction knowledge/understanding would be a definite asset
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- High level of attention to details
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Experience using an ERP system (Oracle) an asset
- Excellent knowledge of products
- Excellent communication, detailed orientation and able to meet deadlines
