The role we are looking to fill is in our Drafting team, and offers the opportunity to develop your skills, working as part of a team, as well as independently.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Schematics & PWB Layout/Design;

Creation of all related documentation/drawings for manufacture and assembly;

Some design input as required for: continuous improvement, production, engineering teams, custom product design.

What you'll need

Qualifications

Thorough knowledge as to the content of all PWB design related IPC standards;

The ability to develop an understanding of all current and legacy PWB design related software;

Excellent communication and team skills with the ability to work across departments at Nautel;

The ability to produce and modify all PWB related documentation including assembly drawings, handbook drawings, schematics, and parts lists;

Thorough knowledge of requirements and processes involved in PWB detail production;

The ability to process complex engineering change requests to PWB assemblies;

Thorough knowledge of PWB assembly machinery and the associated processes, and in turn ability to utilise current Design For Manufacture (DFM) practices during PWB design;

High speed data bus design experience would be an advantage.
