We are seeking an Office Manager to champion our people's experiences in our Charlottetown office for a full-time permanent position. Working closely with the Office Lead Partner for PEI, this position is responsible for engaging and supporting high performing teams through coaching, mentoring and development.

Responsibilities

The Office Manager strives to promote office engagement through communication and relationship building. They are actively involved in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members, and work in consultation with lawyers to plan and allocate resources, including scheduling and coverage. They are an inclusive leader who values the insights and skills within a team and pulls on the strengths of each individual team member to ensure overall team success.

The Office Manager also oversees the day-to-day office administration activities and develops new, innovative ways to carry out those activities. This includes managing the overall operational and financial responsibilities of the office, maintaining and organizing office facilities, managing vendor relationships and ensuring accounting processes are supported.

What you'll need

Qualifications

As the ideal candidate, you bring at least five years' experience in a people leadership role from a team-oriented workplace and you have proven success in coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, and relationship management. You have exceptional communication, relationship building and organization skills. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and experience improving and innovating processes. A post-secondary degree in business or human resources or a related field, a diploma or certificate in Human Resources is an asset. Experience in a law or professional services firm is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually; dependent on skills, ability, and qualifications.
