Work Location: Office or Hybrid option working from one our Atlantic Canadian Offices (Moncton, NB, Halifax, NS, or St. John's, NL)

Atlantic Lottery (AL) is seeking two (2) Change Management Specialists. Location is flexible within Atlantic Canada with occasional travel to Moncton, NB.

As our Change Management Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and leading the execution of change management strategies to ensure that the human factors of change are considered in project delivery and organizational change initiatives. You will be responsible to strategically use change management best practices to reduce business disruption, improve adoption and usage, and manage risks. You will contribute to the enterprise oversight of change by analyzing data, advancing the change toolset, growing change capabilities across the organization, and coaching and advising on how change management drives business results.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Support and contribute to the governance of the enterprise change management practice including the compilation and analysis of enterprise stakeholder and change data.
  • Develop change management strategies for business initiatives.
  • Perform change related assessments and develop required mitigation plans (communications, sponsorship, training, resistance management, sustainability, and others as required).
  • Lead the execution and activation of mitigation plans by personally executing on some deliverables while coaching and leading others to fulfil their change roles.
  • Facilitate workshops, cross functional discussions, present to project leadership, as required. This may require having difficult conversations and facilitating consensus.
  • Be an advocate for change, provide coaching to leaders to build their change leadership capabilities.
  • Be proactive and strategic in your awareness and understanding of organizational factors, risks, dependencies, and potential conflicts that could impact project and change initiatives. A holistic view of the organization is key to developing change strategies and understanding what can influence/impact them.

What you'll need

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 5 years' experience in change management or related disciplines such as human resources, communications, project management, risk management, process improvement, other.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Diploma, in Business Administration, Learning, Communications, Organization Behavior, Organization Development, or similar field.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, the ability to communicate messages to a variety of audiences with strong writing, documentation, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older to apply.
  • Must reside in Atlantic Canada.

Professional Skills:

  • Experience with leading or participating in medium to large scale change management efforts.
  • Solid business acumen and an understanding of organization issues and challenges.
  • The ability to think and act strategically while demonstrating analytical skills to synthesize data and translate into actionable risk and change mitigation plans. Active listener with a natural ability for problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visual presentations with Microsoft Excel or other applications.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization, establish and maintain strong relationships and influence others toward common goals.
  • Ability to coach and guide leaders through change challenges, risks and managing resistance to achieve change and business objectives.
  • Excellent communications, organization, and planning skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, resilient with the ability to work in ambiguous situations and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve common business objectives.

Assets:

  • Extensive experience in change management industry standards, best practices and methodologies, with a certification in industry-standard change management methodology (PROSCI, CCMP, etc).
  • Experience in training design and delivery.
  • Experience with Business Analysis and/or Business Process Design and Modeling.
