Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Project Management Office, the Change Management Specialist is a leadership role responsible for organizational change related to enterprise business process improvement and technology related initiatives at Saint Mary's. The Change Management Specialist interfaces with various stakeholders, primarily at the executive and senior director level, and is responsible for building change management discipline and best practices into the institution's operations in the achievement of desired business outcomes. This position is also responsible for leading, directing, coordinating and providing visibility into the University's change management needs and issues. The Change Management Specialist provides guidance and mentorship to project managers and project teams focused on the activities required to help individual stakeholders understand, adjust to and adopt the new practices, processes or tools that a project is implementing.

Group affiliation for this position is with the Administrative, Professional & Confidential (APC) Group. The position is evaluated at a Group 7 (salary range $71,660 - $93,276). Salary scale can be viewed here.

Qualifications

To be the successful Change Management Specialist you will possess an undergraduate degree in IT or Business and possess a recognized Change Management Professional Certification such as Prosci Certification, ACMP's Certified Change Management Professional Certification (CCMP). The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience leading enterprise change initiatives. Experience working effectively with senior executives and directors and the ability to work on projects in a team environment and an individual basis is required. The successful candidate should have experience in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, online project management tools and the ability to work and collaborate effectively within a virtual environment. Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail will round out your qualifications as the successful candidate. Functional/business knowledge of University/college enterprise systems or prior experience working with Ellucian products would be an asset.
