What you'll do

Responsibilities

NBCC is looking for individuals who would be interested in teaching online courses in the following areas: Educational Assistant, Early Childhood Education, Science, Math, Health and Communication.

Reporting to the Dean of Distributed Learning, as a member of the faculty team, you are responsible for planning and preparing instructional materials and resources; establishing and managing a positive learning environment; instructing and evaluating students; building and sustaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders; as well as other related duties.

Qualifications

Required qualifications for this opportunity include a bachelor's degree in a related field, with a minimum of three (3) years of recent and related experience; OR a certificate in in a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of recent and related experience. Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working/teaching in a post-secondary environment.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

Work With Us

Hours of work will be up to a maximum of 25 hours per week. Salary will be a minimum of $21.00 per hour.
