NBCC is looking for individuals who would be interested in working on the preparation of content for delivery of the Early Childhood Education diploma courses. This online content preparation work would begin immediately for the 90hr "Advanced Positive Child Guidance" course (as per the Development tasks for instructors in ADDIE). The content preparation will follow the guidelines for online development.

We are also seeking individuals to prepare the remaining nine courses including "Leadership From Within", "Leading through Relationships", "Advocacy in Early Learning and Childcare", "Families and Diversity", "Diversity and Inclusiveness", "Creating a Learning Community", "Literacies and Play", "Outdoor Play and Nature" and "Early Learning and Childcare Administration", which will take place over the next ten months.

Individuals can work from any campus location.

What you'll need

Qualifications

Required qualifications for this opportunity include a bachelor's degree in education, social sciences or a related discipline, with a minimum of three (3) years of recent and related experience; OR a certificate in early childhood education with a minimum of five (5) years of recent and related experience. Related experience must include recent experience in a licensed early childhood education centre, as well as extensive experience with the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework for Early Learning and Child Care. Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.

Hours of work will be up to a maximum of 25 hours per week. Salary will be a minimum of $21.00 per hour.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working/teaching in a post-secondary environment.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.
