The Opportunity
Reporting to the Security & Surveillance Manager the successful candidate will monitor gaming
non-compliance to the Gaming Regulations, internal controls, and operational procedures.
• Complete accurate, timely reports on all incidents which include procedure violations and non-compliance reports.
• Make recommendations to the Senior Supervisor/Manager on operational quality initiatives.
• Complete investigations and review requests.
• Document and file suspicious transactions for FINTRAC purposes.
• Identify criminal activity of any kind and safety hazards.
• Maintains video files and evidence.
• Embed a mindset of continuous improvement into all aspects of their operations and interactions.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
• Surveillance of all departmental operations to protect the property assets, reputation, and standards and to ensure compliance with provincial and AL internal controls.
• Make decisions on sound judgment through constant observation, recording and reporting of non-compliance to the Gaming Regulations, internal controls, and operational procedures.
• Complete accurate, timely reports on all incidents which include procedure violations and non-compliance reports.
• Make recommendations to the Senior Supervisor/Manager on operational quality initiatives.
• Complete investigations and review requests.
• Document and file suspicious transactions for FINTRAC purposes.
• Identify criminal activity of any kind and safety hazards.
• Maintains video files and evidence.

What you'll need
Qualifications
• University degree, college diploma or equivalent experience.
• Work experience in Surveillance Operations.
• Ability to analyze a situation and make recommendations through sound judgment.
• Comfort making recommendations on process improvement.
• Ability to understand implications of provincial and ALC internal control and regulations.
• Knowledge of table games is an asset.
• Willingness to work shift work including overnight.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Desire to be a team player for protection of property assets.
• Attention to detail.
