Chimo Construction (2014) Limited is involved in the commercial and industrial construction sectors of Newfoundland and Labrador as general contractors, project managers and developers for design-build/lease construction. We are looking for employees for work in the St. John's and Avalon Peninsula area.

Carpenters (Journeypersons/Apprentices/Carpenter Helpers)

The Carpenters would be responsible for:

Working in rough and finish carpentry projects;

Determining specifications and calculating material requirements;

Preparing layouts and interpreting blueprints and drawings;

Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials of wood and wood substitutes; and

Operating power tools.

To be successful in this role the interested candidate must possess the following:

Experience with general contracting;

Journeyperson or Apprentice Carpenter Certification;

Able to work within tight time deadlines;

Excellent written and oral communication skills;

Builds constructive and effective relationships; and

Safety conscious.
