Atlantic Lottery (AL) is seeking a Campaign Manager, Brand to join our Brand and Communications team. As the Campaign Manager, you will develop and lead marketing and communications programs aimed at achieving program awareness and relationship development and will work closely with teams providing strategic and tactical marketing support.

As the ideal candidate, you will be an integrated marketing generalist with a strong understanding of brand awareness, excellent project management and communication skills. You are a true team player and relationship builder. This is a new role that is built for a self-starter, who is comfortable dealing with some ambiguity as Atlantic Lottery navigates a rapidly evolving competitive landscape in a regulated industry. You will work collaboratively with marketing peers, external partners and vendors, and internal stakeholders to achieve business plan objectives while reporting to the Director, Brand and Communications.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies for portfolios that have an enterprise-wide impact. Common goals for these strategies will be corporate reputation, social responsibility and purpose, awareness, and brand favorability.

Develop and manage integrated marketing and communications strategies with the support of external partners, as well as internal peers and stakeholders. Campaigns will be executed across Atlantic Canada leveraging a variety of owned, earned, and paid tactics.

Support briefings and oversee campaign delivery collaborating with internal teams and external partners including creative, production, and media agencies. Manage timely and successful delivery of marketing campaigns, on time and on budget, working with internal and external stakeholders.

Understand and monitor current and emerging trends in marketing, communications, and social responsibility, to determine how best to apply to AL campaigns.

Continuous monitoring and optimization of in market campaigns and delivery of regular reports and insights of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs to stakeholders.

Ensure regulatory, responsible gambling, brand, and reputational considerations are adhered to across all campaigns and communications channels.

What you'll need

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional marketing and/or public relations experience.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, marketing, public relations, or related discipline.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of marketing and campaign management, including traditional and digital marketing.
  • Resiliency and flexibility in regulated, evolving industry environment, and willing to occasionally work beyond regular business hours, i.e. evening, weekends, if the situation demands.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older to apply.

Professional Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data from various sources and build data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Experience in building out and executing a marketing strategy from start to end. This would include building the strategy, identifying tactics and workback schedule, managing all creative development, monitoring and optimizing towards results, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Track record of successfully collaborating with other internal departments and external vendors.
  • Highly flexible with ability to adapt to ambiguity, frequently changing time frames and short deadlines.
  • Experience with external vendors including the briefing process, managing the relationship and ensuring that the vendors are delivering on strategy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, prioritize and competently handle a variety of activities.

Assets:

  • Public relations education and experience.
  • Experience with social responsibility and brand purpose initiatives.
  • Intermediate knowledge of digital marketing and communications.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Asana.
  • Experience working in a marketing or communications agency setting.
