Responsibilities

What you will be working on:

Reporting to the Dean of Professional and Part-time Learning, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading major projects in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. This will include all aspects of project management including preparation of training proposals, negotiating contracts, and coordinating sector consultations in collaboration with internal college teams. This role is also key in expanding the provision of non-regular programs offered by the College through building relationships with both the public and private sectors to better meet the training needs of employers in New Brunswick.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of a 2-year diploma in business or related field, OR a bachelor's degree in Business or related field, with proven related work experience as well as demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Experience with contract management, project management, curriculum, and financial management.
  • Excellent program management and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Ability to work in both official languages (English & French) considered as asset.
  • Knowledge of economic drivers in New Brunswick and the leaders in the business community.
  • Occasional travel within New Brunswick is required and candidates must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Experience working in a related role in a post-secondary environment may be considered an asset.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.
