Clearwater Seafoods' SAP Integration department requires a Business Analyst, Order to Cash (OTC). This is a full-time position at our Bedford, Nova Scotia Corporate Office. The successful candidate will also have flexibility to work remotely.

Purpose of Position:

This position is responsible for providing analytical insights and recommendations on content, processes, and procedures related to enterprise applications with respect to OTC and S&OP transaction sets. Applies functional and business knowledge to the design and customization of workflow systems that provides seamless integration for client/server applications. Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with business counterparts on sales, distribution and forecasting issues. Researches and recommends process improvements focused within the sales/distribution and sales and operational planning functions.

Reporting Structure:

This individual will report to the Director, SAP Integration

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and builds knowledge for SAP solution design within the Global Template for OTC, S&OP.
  • Conducts initial screening of developmental requests and recommendations with business counterparts and internal stakeholders.
  • Works with the Functional Lead to support the creation and documentation of strategic functional requirements & process strategy.
  • Recommends procedures within the OTC, S&OP function to make Sales and operations more efficient and effective.
  • Creates sub-process designs and manages integration across other practice areas, applications, and internal / external stakeholders.
  • Upholds and improves Process Flows documentation within OTC, S&OP.
  • Maintains and improves Business Process Procedures (BPPs).
  • Partners with the respective AMS lead and ensures AMS delivers on developmental commitments.
  • Monitors and reports on sub-process KPIs for the OTC, S&OP functions (e.g., Global monitoring of established global SLAs).
  • Responsible for executing unit and string testing.
  • Supports and conducts various statistical tests, including linear regression.
  • Writes functional specifications and test scripts.

Working Conditions:

Travel: This position will be required to travel to Sales offices and other locations within Clearwater's global network in support of process and application improvements from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years technical degree with an emphasis on information systems and operational flow strongly preferred. Strong business and financial acumen is a must;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience or more in SAP OTC, S&OP
  • Demonstrated experience and success working within a Continuous Improvement/Operational 
  • Excellence process experience in Global Markets environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and success with designing and rolling out tools focusing on process improvement throughout an organization.
  • Experience working in SAP, OTC and S&OP applications

Working Conditions:

  • Location - Bedford, Nova Scotia with hybrid remote work schedule
  • Travel - occasional travel to plant operations will be required
