We are currently looking to fill the position of Athletic Therapist to join our Athletics and Recreation Department team.

Job Information and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Head Athletic Therapist, the Athletic Therapist will:

  • Assess and treat the injuries of Varsity and Club team athletes.
  • Provide practice and game medical coverage for Varsity teams.
  • Recruit and trains volunteer student trainers.
  • Coordinate and collect Varsity athletes' medicals and testing.
  • Assist with the scheduling and coordination of referrals related to allied Health Professional (Physicians, Surgeons, etc.).

Experience and Education Requirements

To be the successful Athletic Therapist you will have:

  • Bachelor of Science, Athletic Therapy.
  • Certification in Athletic Therapy (Canada).
  • Certified Medical First Responder.
  • Minimum of one-year related experience.
  • Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends, as required.
