UNB's Centre for Learning Futures supports innovative teaching and learning approaches through its Teaching and Transformative Learning unit across all modes of program and course delivery. The Centre for Learning Futures supports a variety of learning opportunities ranging from online academic programs and courses across a variety of disciplines to executive education, professional development and personal development opportunities. The Office of Experiential Education also operates within the Learning Futures Umbrella.

Salary Range: $76,626 - $104,433 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to Director Finance and Operations, the Assistant Director of Strategic Marketing, Sales and Communication is responsible to provide strategic direction, planning and prioritization of Marketing, Sales and Communications activities across all functional units within the Centre for Learning Futures. The Assistant Director will engage in data driven decision making leading to the development of Strategic Marketing, Sales and Communications plans. This position will support sustainable achievement of growth targets across all Learning Futures units, optimizing the use of internal resources and, periodically, the use of external agencies or service providers in support of UNB's reach locally, nationally, and globally.
- Lead and support the development and implementation of strategic marketing, sales and communication plans for all units operating within the Centre for Learning Futures.
- Work with units to inform prioritization and resourcing of marketing, sales and communications activities, ranging from awareness and enrollment to retention and loyalty, ensure alignment with the mission, vision and values of UNB and the Centre for Learning Futures.
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and staffing plans to support the unit's activities and strategic goals.
- Contribute to annual plans and inform marketing, sales and communication related budget allocations across units in support of awareness, program sustainability and growth targets.
- Advance the mission and strategic objectives of UNB and the Centre.
- Lead, mentor and support a diverse team of staff within the Marketing and Sales teams.
- Invest in fiscally responsible professional development initiatives to achieve return on investment and meet UNB financial targets.
- Encourage a service focused approach including collaboration with institutional and external resources as necessary.
- Ensure team orientation, training, and performance management processes are in place for all staff.
- Foster productive relationships and collaborations with key stakeholders within the university, including faculties, departments, and administrative units.
- Work to understand and educate the team on the activities, priorities and needs of units within the Centre for Learning Futures.
- Foster productive relationships and collaborations institutionally, across faculties and within the Centre for Learning Futures.
- Support the launch of new programming and the continuation of existing programming through effective campaigns, communication, sales ad related activities with a focus on ROI.
- Ensure the development of relevant, effective and sustainable marketing, sales and communications plans within and across units, programs and purposes.
- Build on UNB's award winning programs and continue to build UNB's visibility within its local, national and global communities.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Masters degree in a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years experience in senior strategic leadership position in sales. marketing and/or communications field.
- 3+ years experience in higher education.
- ·An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as listening and perceptive capacities.
- Familiarity or experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
