Under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the Assistant Director Client Technology Services is responsible for the effective management, coordination and overall operations of University-wide client-facing technological support encompassing the EIT Help Desk, desktop/personal computing technology, instructional technology (audio/visual), cellular telephones, etc. The Assistant Director is responsible for the cost-effective service delivery consistent with the strategies and goals of both the EIT Department and the University. The Assistant Director is responsible for Asset Management and the desktop/laptop Evergreen program whereby the University supplies a standard device for all permanent full-time faculty and staff. The Assistant Director is the primary EIT contact for the Atlantic School of Theology.

Group affiliation for this position is with the Administrative, Professional, Confidential (APC) Group. The position is evaluated at a Group 8 (salary range $83,160- $107,174). Salary scale can be viewed here.

Qualifications

To be the successful Assistant Director, Client Technology Services you will possess an undergraduate degree and a minimum of five (5) years of directly related work experience. As the successful candidate, you will have customer service experience, supervisory experience in a unionized environment, strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability in leading a team of IT Specialists and working under deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and ability to lead a team through a creative process will round out your qualifications as the successful candidate. Project Management/ITIL/COBIT Certification is considered an asset for this position.
