The Opportunity

New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) is committed to transforming lives and communities. The College is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Administrative Assistant (ASL 2) Facilities and Ancillary Services.

What you will be working on:

Collaborating under the leadership of the Regional Operations Manager (ROM), the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for administrative duties and other tasks assigned by management such as:

  • Coordinate shredding services.
  • Distribution of Mail.
  • Maintain phone list, org chart, etc.
  • Backup for receiving and assist on daily basis.
  • Crosstrain as backup/assist in bookstore.
  • Facility signage.
  • Basic copier/printer maintenance (Non-IT).
  • Ordering supplies/miscellaneous for FAS.
  • Local Procurement when required.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma with at least (1) year of related work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

This position is a unionized position where the terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NBUPPE - Administrative and Program Support Services collective agreement for the College.
