The Opportunity
Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk (12 Month Term) to join our Finance Team in the Saint John office location. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Review, code and enter invoices
- Process cheque runs and electronic payments
- Respond to vendor and internal inquiries
- Perform statement reconciliations
What you'll need
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in business administration and a minimum two-three years experience in an office environment, preferably in an accounting support role.
As a team player with a continuous improvement attitude, you possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Your are highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
Strong computer skills are required, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (with a focus on Excel). Experience using Oracle Applications would be an asset.
