What you'll do
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Dean, Academic Planning and Flexible Learning, the Academic Sector Analysts are responsible for interpreting sector and program data to inform the College's academic decision-making process.
Specifically, the analysts will conduct labour market analysis, environmental scans, and consultations with industry and internal stakeholders to inform decision-making by the Academic Deans. Key responsibilities include collecting and interpreting data; analyzing results; identifying patterns and trends in data sets; writing reports and recommendations; assisting with program mapping; and defining new data collection and analysis processes.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Required qualifications for this opportunity include a diploma in business, education, data or business analytics and a minimum of five (5) years of recent and related work experience; OR a degree in business, education, data or business analytics with a minimum of three (3) years of recent and related work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Related experience must include data collection, analysis, and report writing. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks, are also requirements of this position.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

NBCC offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes a competitive bi-weekly salary for this position ranging from $1,729 to $2,417 biweekly. This position is a non-union position where the terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with management/non-union policies.
