NBCC is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the position of Academic Sector Analyst at any of these campus locations (Saint John, Moncton, Miramichi, Woodstock, or Saint Andrews).

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Reporting to the of Director of Academic and Capacity Development, the Academic Sector Analyst plays a key role in supporting program, course and revision decisions. He/she is responsible for compiling and interpreting sector and program data to inform the College's academic decision-making process. The analyst gathers information from various sources, interprets patterns and trends and compiles information into comprehensive reports.

Specifically, the analyst will conduct labour market analysis, environmental scans, and consultations with industry and internal stakeholders to inform decision-making by the Academic Deans. Key responsibilities include collecting and interpreting data; analyzing results; identifying patterns and trends in data sets; writing reports and recommendations; assisting with program mapping; maintaining data and reports in accessible formats; and defining new data collection and analysis processes.

Qualifications

Required qualifications for this opportunity include a diploma/degree in a related field and or equivalent combination of knowledge skills, abilities and relevant experience. Related experience must include data collection, analysis, and report writing. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to plan and manage projects and multiple tasks, are also requirements of this position. Proficient with and demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office suite.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

NBCC offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes a competitive bi-weekly salary for this position ranging from $1,729 to $2,417 biweekly. This position is a non-union position where the terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with management/non-union policies.
