The salary scale for Professional Support 3 is based on steps that range from $72,470.25 - $93,456.74. New Professional Support employees may receive up to a maximum of seven steps for relevant occupational experience which is $81,859.58 annually.

What you'll be doing...
The Process & Planning Coordinator is a key member of NSCC's Workforce Development team, responsible for supporting the planning, development, execution and stewardship of continuing education and contract training offerings. This role plays a central function in coordinating student-centered learning opportunities, improving systems and ensuring delivery excellence across our work.
Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Development, Process & Planning and part of the overall Workforce Development team, the coordinator will:
- Coordinate projects and learning opportunities by liaising with academic schools, campuses, external clients, subject matter experts and faculty.
- Take ownership of logistics and planning, including course scheduling, space and equipment bookings, faculty coordination, registration processes, and campus support coordination
- Be a key point of contact for students by responding to inquiries, connecting them to college supports, monitoring retention and gathering feedback.
- Collaborate with other key stakeholders invested in the delivery of contract training learning to leverage systems to support delivery.
- Manage documentation, templates and processes contributing to the development of streamlined, repeatable workflows for future projects.
- Track and report on data related to workforce development projects using digital tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Planner, Excel, and Power BI.
- As part of this opportunity, work closely on a larger client project directly with a Manager of Workforce Development, supporting various aspects of the project set up, delivery and student supports. As a result, the coordinator will liaise directly with the client, students, faculty, and campus supports and be a main point of contact for the project.
- This is a campus-based position - candidates must be available to work in person and on-site at the NSCC Sydney Waterfront Campus.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent, (a diploma in office management, paralegal, business intelligence or business analytics, could all be deemed equivalent).
- You have a minimum of 3 years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in project coordination and systems support.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively both autonomously and in small teams.
- Experience in managing, organizing and coordinating a high volume of information and documentation.
- Strong ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate effectively across a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, details, and deadlines.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Power BI.
- You possess exceptional organizational skills with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure delivery timeliness.
