Salary range: The salary scale for Professional Support 4 is based on twelve steps that range from $70,472.03 - $96,589.53. New Professional Support may receive up to a maximum of seven steps for relevant occupational experience which is $84,602.83 annually.

What you'll be doing

  • As part of the Academic Equity and Quality team, the Academic Quality Assurance (AQA) Consultant will: Support the design, development, and implementation of academic quality assurance processes, policies, systems and resources.
  • Manage the academic quality assurance activities, including the program review cycle and processes, for assigned programs at the College.
  • Work closely with School Deans, School Managers, Academic Chairs, faculty.
  • Steward the Academic Quality Framework processes and cycles, provide training, advice and guidance to Schools and review teams, and collaborate effectively across a matrix organization.
  • Support the data requirements for quality assurance and planning, including research, analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary degree in education, social sciences, business administration or another relevant discipline. A Bachelor of Education or additional training in Adult Education, Program Planning and Evaluation, and Project management training would be an asset.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of recent and related occupational experience that includes data analysis and program evaluation, within a post-secondary context.
  • Occupational experience that includes qualitative methodology, data analysis and reporting would be considered an asset.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail.
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience.
  • You have experience in training/facilitation preparation, delivery and evaluation.
