What you will be doing…
- You will process DPO's and departmental purchases (FEMP) according to our Procurement Policy.
- Work with the Department Manager to develop schedules and timelines for training and delivery.
- Support department staff and faculty navigating policy surrounding reimbursement for approved items.
- You will organize and schedule training and professional development sessions in partnership with the Department Manager.
- Working with the Manager, Accounting Services, you will educate and communicate the Travel and Reimbursement Policy as required in assisting employees with policy interpretation.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary certificate or diploma in business or office administration. High school completion with significant years of administrative experience (10+) will also be considered.
You have a minimum of three years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in a fast-paced office environment.
Experience in the Education sector would be considered an asset.
Occupational experience that includes working with PeopleSoft would be considered an asset.
You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams and Microsoft OneNote and email.
You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology, and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work.
Experience supporting/coordinating the work functions of a large and complex department would be considered an asset.
Experience supporting/providing service to students and prospective students would be considered an asset.
