Reporting to the Category Manager, the Listing Coordinator is responsible for administering the overall beverage alcohol product listing process from start to finish, including receiving and coordinating applications from suppliers for the Category Leads or Category Manager's review, accurately entering approved listing applications into SAP, and coordinating the process work flow through other key business units. They are also responsible for the ongoing creation & maintenance of all article Master Data in SAP and are a key liaison with business units & suppliers for all areas related to Master Data. This process includes an extensive volume of products that the NSLC brings into its network annually, including general listings, one-time only, & specialty products.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Receive & coordinate all applications from suppliers through the entire listing process including general list, one-time-only and specialty product listings and provide timely status updates to the Category Manager as required
  • Accurately create & maintain all article Master Data in SAP through to the end of an articles' life cycle
  • Act as key liaison with the Operations, Marketing and Supply Chain business units, as well as suppliers for all areas related to article Master Data
  • Ensure all appropriate category review submission information from suppliers is received and prepared in a timely manner for the Category Manager's evaluation
  • Prepare correspondence to suppliers and internal Business Units regarding listing and/or delisting decisions made during the category review process, as well as any product changes (labels, name/description, units/case, sizes)
  • Enter approved listing applications accurately into SAP system for ordering
  • Track and measure the performance of all new listings based upon established timelines
  • Coordinate and maintain each specific category review file from creation to final version, and provide updates to internal Business Units as needed
  • Maintain ongoing relationships and communications with suppliers and/or representatives, including responding and/or providing updates regarding the status of product orders, and any issues or inquiries regarding the listing process
  • Participate on behalf of ICE in all Master Data meetings and provide support on any master data changes as required

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance & support on a variety of NSLC events & Insights and Customer Engagment initiatives and events by coordinating & entering supplier listing applications into SAP
  • Provide timely communication to retail stores on various matters regarding product availability, distribution, label changes, product issues and product listing status
  • Create, update & implement the Listing Application form to reflect new business processes
  • Liaise with Merchandising Coordinators to ensure promotional product is listed, entered, ordered and available for retail stores in time for promotional period, and any added value products are entered as required
  • Provide ad hoc reporting related to listing activity that supports the Category Manager
  • Support Retail Service Center by responding to any inquiries regarding product information

What you'll need

Qualifications

As a qualified candidate, you will have:

  • Undergraduate degree or a business certificate with an emphasis on Commerce or Marketing
  • At least 6 years' experience working in data entry and data management
  • Strong attention to detail and a great degree of accuracy in your work
  • Strong computer literacy in standard desktop and web applications, including advanced MS Excel skills

As an ideal candidate you will also have:

  • Experience working in SAP, preferably creating and maintaining Master Data
  • Experience working in a retail environment
