Reporting to the Senior Manager - IT Services, the Team Lead - IT Service Delivery provides strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a team of Business Systems Analysts. The Team Lead is responsible to support knowledge management & cross training to ensure a competent, efficient, and motivated team. They will also lead the business system support team to provide ongoing support and maintenance for NSLC enterprise applications (including SAP, Point of Sale, Warehouse Management & online solutions). This includes responsibility for the planning, coordination, quality and timeliness of the work of the team to ensure successful coverage for all supported applications and ensuring that solutions and responsiveness meet business needs. This role will also engage with teams within IT, internal business customers as well as external vendors to ensure application support SLAs are being met.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of support and maintenance of NSLC enterprise applications
  • Provide team with direction and guidance to ensure work is carried out appropriately, and in a timely manner to meet business needs
  • Provide strong leadership, coaching and mentoring to develop and maintain a competent, efficient and motivated team
  • Provide staff with regular performance feedback and formal performance appraisals as required
  • Plan and coordinate work for the team and deliver work to the established timelines
  • Lead the team in the design of both technical and business process solutions Ensure that solutions have a strong, flexible, and well-integrated architecture and design that leverages the NSLC's technology investment
  • Ensure the quality, appropriateness, and robustness of delivered solutions meet stakeholder requirements
  • Ensure IT processes and protocols are followed, standards and guidelines are adhered to, and required documentation is maintained
  • Ensure that effective internal partnerships are maintained among business units, within IT, and with external partners
  • Ensure that hardware and software changes are identified and communicated effectively throughout the business
  • Provide input to the development of departmental procedures

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Perform business systems analysis functions as a working member of the team as required
  • Demonstrate commitment to the NSLC's social responsibility mandate
  • Demonstrate commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you'll need

Qualifications

As a qualified candidate you will have:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Information Technology with a business software focus, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring a team
  • Experience at the Team Lead level in the management of information systems
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

As an ideal candidate you will have:

  • Experience working in an SAP environment or similar enterprise solution
  • Previous experience as a business analyst
  • Experience in developing and establishing IT delivery and support processes, as well as working with support vendors
  • ยท Experience with projects with both IT and business components

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
